What was there

The Geneva Hotel, a three story frame building, was located here,  in Pulteney Park, which was the original village green at the center of Geneva.  Also around the green were a post office, grocery store, and the Geneva Academy.  In 1853, it was remodeled and renamed The Hygienic Institute, and its use shifted to that of a sanitarium for the “scientific treatment of disease and ailments”.  Nearby White Springs provided its much acclaimed “Water Cure”.

What is there now

Beginning in 1917 and up to the present time, The Pulteney Apartments.
