  • Designated a National Landmark in 1973
  • Old Fort Johnson – official website
  • Severe flooding of the Mohawk River in August 2011 caused significant damage to the property.  Tours ceased and the museum closed. Once restoration is complete – the property hopes to re-open in the summer of 2012, but their current status is:  “closed until further notice.”
