The vault used at the time of the robbery is now welded on a post just below the historic marker. The site of the former bank is now parking lots for nearby businesses.
- The First Bank of Lima recovered from the robbery and had 7 locations by the 1970s. The crime remains unsolved. The robber got away with $9,960.78.
