Wilder Cemetery
Gamaliel Wilder, South Bristol’s  founder, is buried here as are veterans of the French and Indian thru the Civil Wars. First burial 1801.

What was there

A pioneer cemetery dating back to 1801. The area being first settled in 1789.

What is there now

A gravel road leads to Founder’s Cemetery (which is private). Wilder cemetery sits atop a small wooded hill  just before the private cemetery.
